Product is of a good size even when using a 3.5 battery (which i had for another Ryobi tool). The adjustable shaft made it easy to adjust for my size. The ability to adjust the head tilt was very useful as other types of streamers only let you move it into two positions. Well worth adding this garden tool if you have other battery operated machines like drills.

The strimmer was easy to fit together. I use a 3.5 battery and this has the power to cut the grass. Cutter us good and can be adjusted. The head can be swiveled round and the length of shift can be changed to make it more comfortable. I bought this to add to my tools and share the drill battery - not disappointed.

So we had a petrol striker which my wife could barely lift and was a noisy nightmare to work with. However this is a game changer, adjustable length, position and nice and light. We use a 5.0 battery and this tool doesn’t make a dent in the charge and we use this on a 1 acre garden. Worth buying and great value.

For the last 10+ years we've used a couple of corded twin-line strimmers from another maker. One stopped working and the other somehow destroyed 3 spool caps in a month - time to try something different! We opted for the Ryobi system and bought this, a hedgetrimmer and 2 batteries. I was slightly worried that, being single line and battery operated, wouldn't be up to the job but, so far, it's been fine for what we need and it's good not having to mess around with a power lead, before during and after the actual strimming.
