Wanted something more than just a wood screw driver (200Nm) and this one with extra torque up to 300Nm ticks the box for car work as well. So far I tested taking the wheel nuts off and no probs, works really well (obviously with proper forged adaptors and sockets).

This was to replace my old Ryobi 18V one + impact driver which has never let me down and still works great.

One of the better and more powerful impact drivers I've handled! Only downside is it isn't the smallest I've handled. Makita have the upper hand on size.

I have tested quite a few impact drivers and this one is the absolute winner. Not only is it super powerful (300Nm), but it also comes at a price and in a size that the competition has nothing to offer against, even at twice the price. The biggest advantage of this model are the 3 gears and the Auto mode. The gears allow more delicate jobs while retaining full control due to a good grip and slow revolutions.
The Auto mode is also quite useful in driving the screws to the ideal depth - it slows down once the head of the screw hits the surface, which allows perfect timing.
It also comes with a nice belt clip, which is a must. Shame other models and drills do not come equipped with it.
